Aaron Nola to Make Another Rehab Start on Tuesday
Aaron Nola (ankle, ribs) will make another minor-league rehab start with Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday, according to Lochlan March of The Philadelphia Inquirer. If everything goes well with Nola's rehab start on Tuesday, he could return from the 60-day injured list after that. The 32-year-old veteran threw 69 pitches in his latest rehab start, so he should be sufficiently stretched out after his next start in the minors. Nola hasn't looked right in 2025, though, going 1-7 with a 6.16 ERA (5.04 FIP) and 1.51 WHIP with 52 strikeouts and 16 walks in 49 2/3 innings over nine starts before injuries struck. He's been out since May 15 with an ankle sprain and has also been battling a stress reaction in his right rib that he suffered on his first rehab assignment. How far the Phillies go this year could depend on Nola's ability to bounce back.
