Tyler Anderson To Start For Dodgers On Saturday
Tyler Anderson will be the team's starting pitcher for Saturday's game against the San Diego Padres. He will be filling the rotation spot of Andrew Heaney (shoulder), who landed on the injured list due to shoulder discomfort on Wednesday. Anderson has made two appearances so far this year. On both occasions, he was working in long relief behind starter Tony Gonsolin. He's pitched a total of eight innings and he's allowed four hits, no walks and two earned runs while striking out eight.
