Left-winger Artturi Lehkonen gained value as the trade deadline approached. On Monday, he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche. Lehkonen had 13 goals and 16 assists in 58 games with Montreal. He had four points in his last five games while playing 14:43 of ice time a night this season. Lehkonen was arguably more known for his defensive acumen. However, the left-winger seemed to find his offensive stride under new coach Martin St. Louis.
