Jordan Howard (RB, CHI) - 2016 Fantasy Football Sleeper

BALLER MOVE: Target ~175

CURRENT ADP: 186.3

ANALYSIS: Jordan Howard may not have a starting role in Chicago, but the fifth-round rookie out of Indiana also doesn’t have a ton standing in his way either. Jeremy Langford is firmly entrenched as the starter for now, but the other running backs on the team — Jacquizz Rodgers and Ka’Deem Carey — aren’t eye-popping. Langford is coming off a rookie season where he averaged a meek 3.6 yards per carry and managed eight drops, the most by any running back. Plus, he was seen with a walking boot on his left foot last weekend.

Howard has looked pretty good in preseason action as the clear second-string back. Even if Langford’s injury isn’t a long-term issue, Howard is still undervalued at his 186.3 ADP. Langford still has a lot to prove, and if he underperforms early in the season, the Bears could give Howard a chance.
