Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 8:
Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers
Trade Value: 28.7
ROS Rank: 78
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen had a huge day in his team's Week 7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, recording 11 catches for 119 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets. Allen was one of the beneficiaries of the Chargers' high-volume passing day, as Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert attempted 55 passes.
The 33-year-old Allen has now hauled in 44 receptions for 435 yards and four touchdowns on 65 targets across seven games this season. With Los Angeles currently playing without its top running back, Omarion Hampton (ankle), the team could continue to find itself in pass-heavy game scripts.
That would be a recipe for fantasy success for Allen and the rest of the Chargers' pass-catchers. Los Angeles will have a short week in Week 8, as they play the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday night.
Verdict: Buy for a fair value if possible, or sell-high to address team needs at other positions
Stefon Diggs, WR, Bills
Trade Value: 41.1
ROS Rank: 57
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs handled seven targets last Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, catching all seven passes for 69 yards. He had his second-highest catch total of the season despite playing just 54 percent of the snaps.
Drake Maye is good at spreading the ball around, but Diggs has been a true constant within the offense, catching at least six passes in four of his last seven games. He has impressed as the overall WR26 in PPR leagues, pushing into high-end flex territory.
His value could take a step back this week, though, as the Patriots are already getting ready to take on the Cleveland Browns in Week 7. The Browns have a good defense all around, lowering Diggs' floor and ceiling this week. He should be treated as a WR3/flex with upside.
Verdict: Sell if you still can; avoid acquiring unless you're desperate for a flex wide receiver
George Kittle, TE, 49ers
Trade Value: 49.6
ROS Rank: 43
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) returned from injured reserve in time for the team's 20-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. To the dismay of fantasy football managers awaiting his return, Kittle finished the game with zero receptions and saw only two targets.
If there is a silver lining, it is that the 49ers did not hold back on getting Kittle on the field. The tight end saw an 81% snap share, which was the second-highest rate among the team's offensive skill position players. Rather than rely on Kittle as a pass-catcher, San Francisco utilized him primarily as an extra blocker in the run game.
A healthy Kittle usually operates as one of the 49ers' primary targets, and with wide receiver Ricky Pearsall's (knee) status for Week 8 up in the air, a rebound to TE1 territory against the Houston Texans is within reach.
Verdict: Buy low if you still can; coming off a bad Week 7
Nico Collins, WR, Texans
Trade Value: 76.6
ROS Rank: 15
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (concussion) did not practice Wednesday after exiting Monday night's game against the Seahawks when the back of his head hit the turf. Collins remains in the league's concussion protocol and should be considered questionable for Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers.
The fifth-year receiver has seen a modest start to the season, totaling 26 receptions for 339 yards and three touchdowns, but he still leads the team in receiving and remains C.J. Stroud's most trusted target in a struggling passing attack.
With Collins' availability in doubt, Houston may be forced to lean on depth options Xavier Hutchinson and Jayden Higgins, while tight end Dalton Schultz could also see a bump in volume. Fantasy managers should monitor practice reports closely.
Verdict: Buy low if you still can; better weeks are ahead

Who Should I Trade For?
Week 8 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs, Tetairoa McMillan, George Kittle, Nico Collins, Derrick Henry. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.
Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.
How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.
How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
