Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 12:

Trey Benson, RB, Cardinals
Trade Value: 37.8
ROS Rank: 61

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson (knee) has been on Injured Reserve since Week 4 due to a knee injury. However, Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon indicated leading into Week 11 that Benson is a candidate to have his activation window opened in the near future. That could mean Benson has a chance to return for Arizona's Week 12 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, although that's far from a guarantee at this point.

With Cardinals running back James Conner (ankle) out for the season, Benson profiles as the team's RB1 upon his return. In leagues where he is available, Benson may be worth targeting on the waiver wire for the stretch run of the fantasy season. If he remains out in Week 12, Arizona will likely continue splitting backfield work between Bam KnightEmari Demercado, and Michael Carter.

Verdict: Buy or pick up before return date

Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Browns
Trade Value: 16.8
ROS Rank: 118

Cleveland Browns rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. caught two of his five targets for 26 yards in a 23-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. Fannin's quiet afternoon in the passing game was still good enough for a second-place finish on the Browns in receiving yards, as they only threw for 115 yards as a team.

The rookie tight end has been a solid fantasy asset this season, although he has cooled off a bit over his past two games, with just six catches for 70 scoreless yards over that span. He will look to get back into the end zone in Week 12's road matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Verdict: Drop or sell low

Tyler Allgeier, RB, Falcons
Trade Value: 15.7
ROS Rank: 124

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has just three carries for 10 yards in his team's Week 11 loss to the Carolina Panthers. However, Allgeier did manage to find his way into the end zone against Carolina for his seventh rushing touchdown of the 2025 season and his fourth in the last four weeks. Across 10 games this season, the 25-year-old has rushed for 280 yards and seven scores on 77 rush attempts. Allgeier remains the clear RB2 in Atlanta behind star running back Bijan Robinson.

However, Allgeier has more rushing touchdowns than Robinson and clearly has the trust of the Atlanta coaching staff in short-yardage situations. Allgeier's goal-line role gives him some flex appeal in the right matchups, and he'd profile as a must-start fantasy running back if Robinson were to get injured. Allgeier should be rostered in all fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams heading into a Week 12 matchup against the New Orleans Saints.e.

Verdict: Acquire as a throw-in to a bigger deal as a high-end backup with standalone upside

Kyle Monangai, RB, Bears
Trade Value: 26.8
ROS Rank: 86

Chicago Bears rookie running back Kyle Monangai has now scored touchdowns in back-to-back weeks as he's earned more work behind starter D'Andre Swift. Monangai was still the clear No.2 back in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings, handling 13 touches for 37 yards compared to Swift with 21 for 90, but the rookie is getting valuable touches on the goal line.

The 23-year-old has outcarried Swift three to two inside the 10-yard line in the past two weeks. While Monangai doesn't have the explosiveness to break off long runs, he has standalone value as long as he maintains the work down near the goal line and mixes in with Swift occasionally. Monangai is one of the top handcuffs in fantasy and should be added off the waiver wire in most leagues if available.

Verdict: Acquire as a throw-in to a bigger deal as a high-end backup with standalone upside

Who Should I Trade For?

Week 12 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Trey Benson, Tez Johnson, Matthew Stafford, Harold Fannin Jr., Tyler Allgeier, Kyle Monangai, and Tony Pollard. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.

Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
