Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 11:

Bijan Robinson, RB, Falcons
Trade Value: 90.8
ROS Rank: 5

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson rushed 17 times for 84 yards in Sunday's 31-25 overtime loss to the Colts, adding two catches for four yards in the contest. It was the third straight week without a touchdown, though, currently sitting with two rushing and two receiving scores on the season. Fellow running back Tyler Allgeier scored twice, however, and now has six rushing touchdowns on the season, despite totaling 79 touches for 290 yards from scrimmage compared to Robinson's 178 touches for 1,146 yards.

The problem for fantasy managers was glaring in Sunday's game, which was that Allgeier received five red zone attempts while Robinson saw only one. Allgeier doesn't get much work, especially if the Falcons are playing from behind, but he's getting a lot of the carries that matter when games are close, and Atlanta's next few games should be competitive (CAR, @NO, @NYJ).

Although Robinson drew only two targets on Sunday, his work in the passing attack typically provides a solid floor for fantasy, but the lack of touchdowns is concerning. Nevertheless, he should be a top-five option at the position in Week 11 against Carolina, a defense that gave up 146 yards from scrimmage to running backs this past week.

Verdict: Buy low if possible, but don't be surprised if his fantasy manager won't budge

Saquon Barkley, RB, Eagles
Trade Value: 83.1
ROS Rank: 11

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley recorded 22 carries for 60 yards and added three receptions (three targets) for 41 yards in Monday night's 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers. It was a struggle for Barkley and the Philadelphia offense all night, as he averaged just 2.7 yards per carry, and even his 41 receiving yards came entirely on one reception.

It was a disappointing performance for the 28-year-old after having his best game of the season before the bye in Week 8 against the Giants, totaling 174 yards and two touchdowns. He did tweak his groin in that game, but was cleared from the injury report earlier this week. Barkley has already posted five games with fewer than four yards per carry this season after having just two such games all of last season.

His involvement as a receiver this season has at least helped offset the lack of breakaway runs, with 27 receptions through nine games compared to 33 in 16 games last year. Barkley will look to bounce back in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions.

Verdict: Buy low candidate; try to value him for about 75 cents on the dollar if possible

Jaylen Warren, RB, Steelers
Trade Value: 42.3
ROS Rank: 55

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said on Tuesday that running back Jaylen Warren "will get more touches" going forward if the team can do better on third downs, according to Brooke Pryor of ESPN. Tomlin also added that he's comfortable with both Warren and Kenneth Gainwell on third downs, but Warren "has to get a break at some point."

Warren played 46% of the offensive snaps, his second-lowest total of the season, in Sunday night's 25-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, while Gainwell played 52% of the snaps. The 27-year-old Warren finished with 14 rushing attempts for 70 yards and added two catches for 21 yards. Despite the limited number of snaps, Warren had his second-highest rushing total of the season.

Gainwell didn't even have a carry while catching just two passes for four yards. Touchdowns have been hard to come by for Warren (he has just three), but he should maintain a safe floor as a volume-based RB2.

Verdict: Target in trades if you're in the market for a mid-range PPR RB2

Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs
Trade Value: 87.7
ROS Rank: 7

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice made his season debut in Week 7 against the Raiders and has immediately been one of the best fantasy wide receivers in the league. Rice has totaled 20 receptions on 26 targets for 215 yards and three touchdowns while adding four carries for 18 yards and another touchdown on the ground.

The 25-year-old is averaging 22.4 PPR points per game, ranking as the WR5 in that span. Rice is one of just five wideouts to average over 20 PPR points per game on the season and should be ready to crush after the bye week as Patrick Mahomes' clear No. 1 target.

Head coach Andy Reid has even given him carries near the goal line this season as the Chiefs work through their running back problems. With his high target volume and usage near the end zone, Rice is locked and loaded as a top-five fantasy receiver for the rest of the season.

Verdict: You'll have to pay up for this top 5 PPR WR1 when he's healthy, so prepare to back up the Brinks truck

Who Should I Trade For?

Week 11 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Marvin Harrison Jr., Bijan Robinson, Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, Travis Etienne Jr., Jaylen Warren, Rashee Rice. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.

Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
