Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:

Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) returned to practice on Thursday for the first time since suffering a sprained PCL in his knee in Week 4. Nick Wagoner of ESPN reports that Pearsall was slated to be limited in his first practice back. It gives Pearsall a chance to return this weekend for a divisional game against the Arizona Cardinals, but the 25-year-old former first-rounder will probably need to upgrade to a full practice on Thursday or Friday to have a legitimate shot at returning on Sunday.

Given his long layoff, fantasy managers should expect Pearsall to be eased back into the offense as well, which means he'll be a pretty risky fantasy play whenever he does return. In addition to Pearsall nearing his return, the Niners could have quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) back for the first time since Week 4.

When Pearsall returns, he could be the No. 4 aerial target behind running back Christian McCaffrey, receiver Jauan Jennings, and tight end George Kittle.

Tyler Allgeier, RB, Falcons

Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said that running back Tyler Allgeier is "the least talked about superstar on our football team," according to Marc Raimondi of ESPN. Despite being the backup to another superstar in RB Bijan Robinson, Allgeier has seen double-digit carries five times in 2025, including in the Week 10 loss in Germany to the Indianapolis Colts, when he carried the ball 11 times for 57 yards and two touchdowns.

The 25-year-old only has five catches for 20 yards in nine games, but the fact that he continues to be used near the goal line over Robinson is giving him standalone fantasy appeal as an RB3/flex. Robinson only has two rushing touchdowns this year, while Allgeier has six. Allgeier's volume is not consistent, but his nose for the end zone makes him a pretty valuable handcuff option in fantasy.

Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans

Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Jayden Higgins had his best game of the season in Week 10 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, catching five of his seven targets for 42 yards and a touchdown. Higgins has seen his route share creep back below 50% in the past two games with Nico Collins back in the lineup, but he was still productive in his limited opportunity.

Notably, the rookie wideout ran more routes than veteran Christian Kirk for the first time this season when both are active. That will be a number to monitor for Higgins moving forward to see if he can establish himself as one of the team's top targets alongside Collins. The rookie second-rounder has intriguing upside as an add off the waiver wire in 12-team leagues for Week 11.

Jalen Nailor, WR, Vikings

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jalen Nailor has emerged as a big-play threat in the Vikings' passing attack after delivering 124 yards and a touchdown on just five receptions in the Week 10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Despite seeing just 14.3% of the target share, Nailor was able to post the most productive game of his young career.

The receiver's big game put him on the map for fantasy managers, but before Week 10, his biggest game of the season was a three-catch outing for 37 yards. While Nailor should be viewed as a priority on the wire this week, it may be early to expect consistent production.
