Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Divisional Round? Fantasy Football Outlooks for Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Mark Andrews. Our expert fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks.
The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens both stomped their opponents in the Wild Card round of the 2024-2025 NFL playoffs and punched their tickets to the divisional round. In Daily Fantasy Sports, every playoff team has relevant players, and these two squads are no exception to that rule.
Now, the two teams will face each other for a shot at making the AFC Championship game, and as you can imagine, their quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, are the two most expensive players in DFS games this week.
We'll break down which of the two you should pick up and whether you should grab Ravens tight end Mark Andrews for your DFS squads this week.
Should I Start Lamar Jackson for Fantasy Football?
He's the most expensive QB on Draft Kings and the second-most expensive on FanDuel this week. His upside is tremendous, so this makes perfect sense. The Bills also haven't been great at defending running plays this season, so it's possible that we see him rack up plenty of fantasy points.

Buffalo's run defense has been a problem for years, and it always seems to rear its ugly head at the worst possible time. Yes, the Bills crushed the Denver Broncos 31-7 in the Wild Card round, but Denver has the worst RB room in the league. Running back Derrick Henry and Jackson combine for the scariest rushing duo in the league.
Jackson, despite his price, is worth having in your DFS lineups.
Should I Start Josh Allen for Fantasy Football?
Without a doubt, Allen has had a legendary playoff run throughout his career. In 10 games, he's now racked up 3.286 total yards, 26 total touchdowns and just four interceptions. He's a juggernaut in the postseason, rarely making mistakes and often creating huge plays.

It's hard to bet against him in any game, and the Ravens have had a porous pass defense that helps mitigate the Bills somewhat questionable pass-catching corps. This game should end up being a shootout, as two extremely high-powered offenses will be facing off, and each team has major question marks on defense.
Just like Jackson, we like Allen, despite his price. His play has justified it so far.
Should I Start Mark Andrews for Fantasy Football?
The playoffs are where a teams best players usually shine the brightest, and Andrews is elite. His usage hasn't been amazing this season, but he's seen more consistent playing time since the injury to third-string TE Charlie Kolar (arm). However, Kolar returned in Week 18, and predictably, Mandrews had a lower snap share in the Wild Card round.
The Ravens did everything from heavy personnel on Sunday, using Charlie Kolar, Patrick Ricard, Mark Andrews, and Isaiah Likely early and often to create different looks in the run game. Likely runs away from the nickel here to create separation on this deep over. pic.twitter.com/OxSAzvmpd0

The Ravens have a three-person rotation at tight end featuring Andrews, Kolar, and fellow TE Isaiah Likely. As much as it may pain fantasy managers, that's not going anywhere. We don't like starting Andrews because of this due to his price -- we'd rather have Sam LaPorta on both DraftKings and FanDuel.
