Week 8 Outlooks For Fantasy Football

Tyreek Hill, Miami Dolphins - Fantasy Football Outlook

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday, according to Cameron Wolfe of the NFL Network. However, head coach Mike McDaniel expressed optimism that his star wideout would be able to suit up.

Hill popped up on the injury report on Thursday as a limited participant but was then downgraded to a non-participant on Friday. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status throughout the weekend.

If Hill is able to suit up, he should be locked into all lineups as a high-end WR1 with Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) returning. If the 30-year-old is unable to play, No.2 wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (quad) should be viewed as a low-end WR1.

- Andy Smith, RotoBaller

Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs - Fantasy Football Outlook

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt will take on the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8. Hunt has been the undisputed leader of the backfield since his first game back in Kansas City, and that should continue to be the case until the eventual return of Isiah Pacheco.

The Raiders ranked 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season, so Hunt will find a favorable matchup in this contest. The Chiefs lead back handled 22 carries for 78 yards and two touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7.

Hunt should continue to see that level of usage in this contest, leading to a ton of fantasy success against the Raiders. Hunt is ranked RB9 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings this week, so fire him up as a low-end RB1.

- Joshua Costello, RotoBaller

Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans - Fantasy Football Outlook

Tennessee Titans running back Tony Pollard faces the Detroit Lions in a Week 8 road matchup this weekend. Pollard underwhelmed against a bad rush defense but was mostly game-scripted out in the second half against Buffalo last week.

The Lions boast one of the best rush defenses in the NFL, allowing the third-fewest yards on the ground in the NFL through seven weeks. Tyjae Spears did play against the Bills but is likely to return this week after having practiced in a limited fashion for three consecutive days. That will take snaps away from Pollard, especially if the Lions go up early in this one. Pollard did draw six targets last week, so he may remain involved in the passing game even with Spears back in the mix, but with the tough matchup and less opportunity inbound, he's only a lower-end RB2 for this game.

- Ryan Goodman, RotoBaller
