NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 6/01/24
The National Hockey League playoffs are nearing the end. Will Edmonton finally break their curse? During the playoffs, it is much more common to find low-scoring and heavy-hitting games. SCRATCH THAT! This year we have seen plenty of back-and-forth blowouts and teams getting swept! The fireworks have continued so far into the Conference Finals too! Tonight the Nightmare Bear makes his first visit to the New York Rangers in Florida. Will the Blue Shirts be able to stay alive and force a Game 7 at the Big Apple?! I will do my best to guide you through this showdown slate on DraftKings and FanDuel starting at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

Artemi Panarin - DK $13.8K || FD $14.5K
Opponent - Florida Panthers
It is do-or-die for the first time in the playoffs for the New York Rangers. Fortunately, they have players like Artemi Panarin that have veteran and playoff experience. However, Panarin is a major reason why the Rangers are destined to meet the Nightmare Bear. In the winger’s last five playoff games, he has three assists, 12 shots, and one blocked shot. He will need to elevate his game tenfold if he wants to fly back to the Big Apple for Game 7. Anticipate Panarin to generate one point and four shots.

DraftKings and FanDuel Flex Players - NHL DFS Picks
Alexis Lafreniere DK $7.2K || FD $9.5K
Opponent - Florida Panthers
On the other wing is Alexis Lafreniere who seems to be living up to his first overall pick hype. Over his last five playoff appearances, he has four goals, 17 shots, and two blocked shots, picking up the production that is lacking from his linemate, Artemi Panarin. Lafreniere is showcasing his strong two-way play and it has been a big reason why the Rangers have made it this far in the playoffs. Although, if they want to stay alive, the winger will need to elevate his game even further. Expect the young winger to produce one point and three shots.
Sam Bennett - DK $6.8K || FD $10K
Opponent - New York Rangers
Sam Bennett is the second line for the Florida Panthers, similar to Vincent Trocheck on New York’s second line. Bennett has three goals, two assists, 14 shots, and one blocked shot in his last five playoff outings and he is expected to continue his hot form tonight in a potential conference-clinching game at home. Going up against the defensively weak Rangers second line, Bennett is expected to generate two points, three shots, and two blocked shots.
Filip Chytil - DK $4.8K || FD $7K
Opponent - Florida Panthers
Since Chytil has returned to the lineup for the Rangers, he has been mixed into the bottom six and the top line and he is slated to make another appearance on the top line tonight. In those five playoff games, he has zero points, six shots, and five blocked shots. Luckily, he is producing peripherals to make up for his lack of points, although not enough to hold any true value. With a do-or-die game on the docket for tonight, Chytil needs to have a performance of a lifetime. Expect the hybrid center/winger to generate three shots and two blocked shots.
