Casey Wilson's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Friday, 5/29/26. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Happy Friday, everyone. We have a massive 12-game slate on tap for tonight, and it is a fun one. Although it is a huge slate tonight, we don't have a ton of options on the mound, so nailing down our arms will be important tonight. I don't mind taking some shots on some value arms and loading up on bats. Let's dig in.
If you have not had a chance to check out my model, I will refer to it throughout this article. To get a better sense of where I am, not only on today's slate but on every slate, please give it a look. My plays are solely based on numbers, and this model is the brain behind the operation. I have also created a hitter model that is not public, but I will reference it in this article.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/29/2026, with the slate starting at 7:05 p.m. ET on DraftKings and FanDuel. The lineup picks will showcase elite players, mid-priced options, and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.
Top MLB DFS Pitcher for DraftKings, FanDuel
Max Meyer, SP - MIA ($9.8K DK/$10.3K FD)
Max Meyer continues to impress and is my SP1 by a wide margin tonight. He will square off against the New York Mets on the road at Citi Field tonight. There will be a 10+ mph wind blowing out to right center field tonight, so there is some risk in this matchup, but Meyer is not allowing a ton of balls hit in the air, so I am not overly concerned.
Meyer has a 3.45 xFIP, 27.2% K%, 1.05 WHIP, and a 0.59 HR/9 this season. Over his last two starts, he has a 3.24 xFIP, 31.1% K%, and a 0.96 WHIP. The form is elite, and my projections look great on him, with a 25.2% K% and 5.73 strikeouts in this matchup.
The main reason I love this spot is how good the matchup is with the Mets. The Mets have a 21.4% K%, .641 OPS, and an 85 wRC+ against RHP this season. They are projected for a 3.2 implied run total on tonight's slate, which is the lowest of any team tonight. Fire up, Max Meyer.
Top MLB DFS Stack for DraftKings, FanDuel
New York Yankees (Model-Projected IRT of 5.1 runs) vs. Luis Severino
I am going to be all over the Yankees this entire series as they are making a trip to Sutter Health Park in Sacramento. It's not often the Yankees get a ballpark upgrade, but this team, with the amount of power they have in this park, is a slam dunk.
They will square off against Luis Severino tonight, who is someone I always stack against when he's pitching at home. He has a 5.55 ERA at home compared to his 4.23 ERA on the season. He has a 2.2 HR/9 at home as well. Severino has a 1.15 WHIP, 2.08 HR/9, 44.1% FB%, and a 35.3% Hard Hit% over his last two starts.
The Yankees have a 5.1 implied run total in my model tonight, and I feel like it's too low. They have a .752 OPS and a 113 wRC+ against RHP this season and a .737 OPS and a 110 wRC+ over the L14 days. The Yankees are heating up, and this park is only going to help that.
Favorite Targets: Ben Rice, Cody Bellinger, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Trent Grisham, Amed Rosario, Aaron Judge, Ryan McMahon
Top MLB DFS Hitter for DraftKings, FanDuel
Rafael Devers, 1B - SFG ($5.1K DK/$3.5K FD)
The Giants will head to Coors Field, and they are not priced like that. Devers is entirely too cheap for this spot, and although he will be chalky, he is my top play on the slate. He's heating up, with a .418 wOBA, .324 ISO, and .999 OPS against RHP over his last 80 ABs. Michael Lorenzen has allowed a .546 wOBA, .355 ISO, and a 1.357 OPS during that time. Try to be over the field on Devers tonight.
