BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 26% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Not going to happen, but if the NFL declared the season over this very day, Teddy Bridgwater would finish as almost a QB1 through nine weeks of play. He ranks QB14 in total FP at this point, which you probably don't believe, but's it's all correct. Obviously, he's logged 9-of-9 possible starts and only missed a few snaps over the played games, and the per-game average drops him to a more realistic QB21 spot as the likes of Dak Prescott and Russell Wilson overtake him. But that's a haters' point of view if you ask me.
Bridgewater is fantastic. Not flashy, not bombs-away, but steady and solid a quarterback as they come. Bridgewater is one of only five quarterbacks averaging more than 15 FPPG while having a volatile of just 5-or-fewer FP per game (that means all of his fantasy scores fall between 10 and 20 FPPG on average). In fact, Teddy has dropped below 11.8 FP just once (W4, banged up) while putting up four 20+ FP games so far this season.
The best thing about Bridgewater is that he's a perennial QB2 with upside for QB1 all weeks of the season--let alone now that we're in the middle of the #ByeSZN. Adding spice to his already fantastic season as a streaming QB in shallower leagues and starter-caliber QB in deeper (not so deep, though) formats, Bridgewater is coming off his best game to date thanks to a 19-of-28 passing day for 249 yards and 1 TD against no interceptions... to which he added a negative-1 rushing yard and his first rushing TD of the year. Yes, you read that right. In case you needed one more reason to roster/stream/start Teddy B asap.
