Jonathan Taylor Injury Update
Taylor (neck) will be good for Week 2 and beyond, which means his injury should become tolerable very soon. The standout running back missed part of the final minutes of Week 1 for precautionary reasons, but it sounds like he could have played if the score were closer. Taylor should bounce back as a high-end RB2 with RB1 upside soon.
#Colts HC Shane Steichen says Jonathan Taylor is "good" after taking an awkward hit to his neck area yesterday. Adds that Taylor could've gone back into the game but with a big lead, it just wasn't worth it.
Plus, Indy got a chance to get a good look at rookie DJ Giddens.

Joe Mixon Injury Update
Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans declined to provide an update on the injury status of Mixon (ankle). The talented running back appears to be at risk of missing significant time, or perhaps the entire 2025 season. Nick Chubb remains the running back to roster in Houston.

Najee Harris Injury Update
Harris (eye) played in the Chargers' season opener against the Chiefs, but he took a backseat behind rookie Omarion Hampton. Harris is healthy going forward but remains outside the top 36 running backs for fantasy football.
Omarion Hampton: 50 snaps, 15 carries, 18 routes

Austin Ekeler Injury Update
Ekeler (shoulder) has been limited in practice after picking up his injury Sunday against the Giants. He ranks as a low-end RB3, whose floor will decline if he has to continue sharing opportunities with Jacory Croskey-Merritt.

Will Shipley Injury Update
Shipley (rib) suffered a fractured rib last week, creating some confusion in Philadelphia's backfield. Philadelphia went out and acquired Tank Bigsby to add additional depth, but it's unclear if that move had any relation to Shipley's status. The second-year running back can be left on the bench for now.
The Tank Bigsby trade is not related to Will Shipley’s rib injury against the Cowboys last week, to my understanding.
The Eagles like their RB room. They like Bigsby’s effectiveness as a kickoff returner — a role they’ve been exploring.

Kene Nwangwu Injury Update
Nwangwu (hamstring) has primarily been operating on special teams and isn't much of a threat to contribute out of the backfield. As a result, he should only be rostered in fantasy leagues where players get rewarded for punt yards. Otherwise, he can be left on waivers.
#Jets roster moves: Signed RB/KR Keilan Robinson to the practice squad. Happens to be a kickoff returner. Jets' KOR, Kene Nwangwu, is dealing with a hamstring injury. Robinson was a 5th round pick by JAX in 2024. RB Lawrance Toafili cut from the PS.
