Terry Rozier Out Again Versus The Raptors
5 hours agoCharlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier (foot) is out again on Sunday versus the Raptors. The 29-year-old has missed the last three games because of right foot discomfort. Considering Charlotte has nothing left to play for, Rozier may have already played his final game this season. That said, Dennis Smith Jr. (foot) is questionable, so Theo Maledon could be starting against Toronto. Maledon has averaged 13.0 points, 8.7 assists, and 1.3 blocks in three starts during the 2022-23 campaign, so there's something there for DFS managers if Smith doesn't suit up.Source: NBA Injury Report
P.J. Washington Uncertain For Sunday
6 hours agoCharlotte Hornets forward P.J. Washington (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Raptors. The 24-year-old sprained his right ankle during Friday's game versus the Bulls. However, it appears he is trending in the wrong direction, so it's likely he won't be out there. If that's the case, JT Thor, who had 10 points and three rebounds against Chicago, may enter the starting lineup.Source: NBA Injury Report
Gordon Hayward Doubtful Again On Sunday
6 hours agoCharlotte Hornets forward Gordon Hayward (thumb) is listed as doubtful ahead of Sunday's meeting with Toronto. The Hornets are limping to the end of the regular season, so it wouldn't be surprising if Hayward didn't suit up again in 2022-23. Charlotte also has P.J. Washington (foot), Dennis Smith Jr. (toe), and Kelly Oubre Jr. (shoulder) as questionable for the matchup against the Raptors. To make matters worse, Terry Rozier won't play, meaning Svi Mykhailiuk, Bryce McGowens, and Theo Maledon may be the featured offensive options on Saturday.Source: NBA Injury Report
Eric Gordon Officially Out On Saturday
10 hours agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon (hip) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans. The veteran guard exited early on Friday due to hip tightness, so it appears that issue is still bothering him. It's the second night of a back-to-back set, so the Clippers will take the cautious approach here. Norman Powell should move into the starting five with Gordon on the sideline. Powell will have increased fantasy value with Gordon out.Source: Andrew Lopez
Lauri Markkanen Could Miss Sunday's Game
10 hours agoUtah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (hand) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. The 25-year-old has missed four of the last five games due to a left hand contusion. The Jazz are within a game of the 10th seed, so Utah does technically have something to play for right now. However, they don't appear to be to eager about getting Markkanen back on the court. In the meantime, Simone Fontecchio should continue to start while Luka Samanic gets increased minutes off the bench. Neither of them are consistent fantasy options right now.Source: Utah Jazz
Myles Turner Listed As Questionable For Sunday
10 hours agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner (back, ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Boston Celtics. The big man has missed each of the last four games due to nagging back and ankle issues. The Pacers trail the Chicago Bulls by four games for the 10th seed with four games remaining on the schedule. That being said, it's not going to take much to eliminate Indiana from playoff contention. It wouldn't be shocking to see the Pacers shut down Turner for the season. If that happens, Isaiah Jackson and Jalen Smith would see extended roles in the rotation. Jackson is the much better streaming option between the two.Source: NBA Injury Report
LeBron James Could Sit Against Rockets
10 hours agoLos Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Houston Rockets. The superstar forward was questionable heading into their last contest and ended up playing 32 minutes in that one. The expectation is that James is going to have a similar workload on Sunday. Otherwise, Troy Brown Jr. and Malik Beasley would see increased roles if James is unable to play. Fantasy managers will have to check back on Sunday for official confirmation.Source: Brad Turner
Anthony Edwards Uncertain For Sunday
10 hours agoMinnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The young guard has played through an illness in each of the last two games. The assumption is that Edwards would suit up once again on Sunday, but it depends on how he's feeling. That being said, fantasy managers will have to check back on Sunday for another update. His absence would mean increased playing time for Nickeil Alexander-Walker.Source: Timberwolves PR
De'Andre Hunter Considered Day-To-Day
11 hours agoAtlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter (knee) was held out of Friday's game and won't suit up for Sunday's contest against the Dallas Mavericks. The team announced that Hunter is day-to-day after an MRI revealed a bone bruise and muscle strain in his left knee. The Hawks don't believe this is going to be a long term issue. That being said, it's possible Hunter returns before the end of the regular season. In the meantime, Saddiq Bey should continue to start and play around 30 minutes per game.Source: Kevin Chouinard
Kyle Lowry Available On Saturday
11 hours agoMiami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (knee) is available for Saturday's game against the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran guard is back after sitting out on Wednesday, which was the second game of a back-to-back set. Lowry has been coming off the bench since he returned from injury in mid-March. It's worth noting that he's only played more than 25 minutes in one of his last seven appearances. Gabe Vincent remains in the starting lineup and is the better streaming option between the two.Source: Anthony Chiang
Gary Trent Jr. Questionable Versus Charlotte
12 hours agoToronto Raptors guard Gary Trent Jr. (back) is questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Hornets. The 24-year-old has missed five games because of back spasms, so he may not be 100% if he plays. However, if Trent isn't in the lineup, Will Barton (ankle), who is probable, may see more minutes. But considering Nick Nurse loves giving his starting lineup all the minutes they can handle, there's little room for anyone else to benefit.Source: NBA Injury Report
Eric Gordon Questionable On Saturday
12 hours agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Eric Gordon (hip) is questionable for Saturday's meeting with the Pelicans. The 24-year-old exited Friday's matchup in Memphis because of hip tightness, so he is in danger of missing this one. If he doesn't play, Norman Powell, who scored a team-high 16 points versus the Grizzlies, could enter the starting lineup. If that happens, Powell should be on the DFS radar.Source: NBA Injury Report
Kyle Lowry Remains Questionable
13 hours agoMiami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (knee) is questionable ahead of Saturday's matchup versus Dallas. The 37-year-old continues to be bothered by left knee soreness, and his production has suffered. He hasn't played more than 25 minutes since missing over a month because of the ailment and doesn't appear on track to be a consistent contributor anytime soon. However, Lowry's presence will at least lower Gabe Vincent's ceiling. But Vincent isn't an ideal fantasy option, to begin with, even if Lowry doesn't suit up.Source: NBA Injury Report
Bam Adebayo Won't Suit Up Versus Dallas
13 hours agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo (hip) won't play on Saturday against Dallas. The big man has a right hip contusion, so he'll sit this one out. As a result, Cody Zeller is on track to enter the starting lineup. However, he's a risky fantasy option, even if his DFS value is tempting. Omer Yurtseven could also get more involved and may finish as the better fantasy option.Source: NBA Injury Report
Donovan Mitchell Goes For 40-Plus Points Again
18 hours agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell posted his second consecutive game with 40-plus points on Friday, leading his squad with 42 in a 130-116 loss to the Knicks. He got there with outstanding 16-for-23 shooting, nailing six of his nine attempts from deep. Mitchell's night also included four rebounds, five assists and one block. The four-time All-Star has nicely heated up lately and can look for further momentum ahead of the playoffs during a very favorable set of games against struggling teams. Cleveland will face Indiana on Sunday before having back-to-back meetings with Orlando and hosting Charlotte in the regular-season finale.Source: ESPN
