Green Bay Packers linebacker Za'Darius Smith (back) had back surgery this week and is expected to be out for an extended period of time, according to sources. However, the good news is that the team is hoping it's not a season-ending situation. Smith is currently on Injured Reserve, but now he's guaranteed to miss more than the required three weeks. The 29-year-old is Green Bay's best pass-rusher, so this is a serious concern for a team that has only five sacks so far through three games. It may not matter against a Pittsburgh Steelers offense in Week 4 that looks just as bad as they did during their free-fall in the second half in 2020. Green Bay's defense could be in trouble in the long term, but they're in the starting picture this weekend because of the matchup alone.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
