Zack Gelof To Undergo X-Rays
Athletics infielder Zack Gelof (hand) was removed early during Wednesday's spring training contest. Gelof was taken out of the contest after getting hit by a pitch on the hand. A's manager Mark Kotsay believes Gelof will be fine and said he was removed for precautionary reasons. However, the A's will have Gelof undergo X-rays to make sure there isn't any significant damage. There should be an update on his status at some point in the next day or two.
