2 years agoNew York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson (knee) won't make his season debut in Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he has a chance to be cleared in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Jets plan to turn back to Wilson, even if veteran Joe Flacco has another strong game this weekend. "No, Zach is the future of the organization, we all know that," head coach Robert Saleh said. "As soon as the doctors clear him, we will get him on the field." Flacco led an improbable comeback win over the Cleveland Browns last week and has been given plenty of opportunities to throw the football, but Wilson remains the future in New York.
