Zach Plesac Pitches Well in His Debut
6 years agoCleveland Indians rookie starting pitcher Zach Plesac pitched well in his major league debut on Tuesday. He tossed 5 1/3 innings, allowing just one run on four hits and a walk. He struck out two and needed 86 pitches to get through the outing. Plesac had strong numbers in Triple-A this season (2.25 ERA and 27.6 percent K-BB). He should be a solid enough starter to get a few more turns in the rotation, especially with Jefry Rodriguez struggling of late. Plesac is worth a look in deeper leagues right away.
