5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zach Eflin has been demoted to the bullpen on Tuesday. The Phillies acquired veteran lefty starter Jason Vargas from the New York Mets on Monday. Eflin had a strong start to the season, but has not seen much success lately. This move basically kills all fantasy value for Eflin. He won't be much of a difference maker for fantasy teams while in the bullpen. It's unclear how long the team plans to leave Eflin in the pen.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
