Zac Gallen Not Going Anywhere
3 years agoTeams are hopeful that the Arizona Diamondbacks might trade starting pitcher Zac Gallen this summer, but they understand that Arizona will keep him "unless they get an offer they can't refuse." "Everyone would want him. Won't happen," said a Diamondbacks person. Gallen had a nice bounce-back outing against the Atlanta Braves his last time out to earn his fourth win of the season, and he's given up two or fewer earned runs in all but one of his nine starts in 2022. The 26-year-old has been great this year with a 2.32 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, 49 strikeouts and 12 walks in 50 1/3 innings. Gallen would be more attractive in fantasy on a contending team, but it looks like that won't be happening this year.
