Yuli Gurriel Racks Up Three Hits
4 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel went 3-for-4 with one home run as the Astros came up short against the Red Sox 5-1 on Thursday. Gurriel accounted for the lone Houston run by smacking his eighth home run of the season. The 36-year-old returned to the lineup a few days ago after a finger issue and raised his average up to .310 with the three-hit game. Gurriel may not make a ton of headlines but continues to rake at the plate. The Astros will travel to play the Blue Jays next and, while Gurriel is posting a .746 OPS in road games, is worth a spot in most fantasy formats heading into the weekend.
