6 years agoHouston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is the team's hottest hitter heading into their Wednesday night matchup against the A's. Gurriel is 11-for-26 (.423) over his last seven games with four multi-hit games in that span. He is hitting everything in sight, posting two home runs, three doubles, seven runs scored with nine runs driven in during the streak. He currently is slugging .667 in the month of July, jumping his season slugging percentage from .409 to .441 in just a handful of games. Gurriel is rising fast in fantasy circles, thanks to a scorching .421 batting average through 76 at-bats with runners in scoring position.
