Gurriel is 11-for-26 (.423) over his last seven games with four multi-hit games in that span. He is hitting everything in sight, posting two home runs, three doubles, seven runs scored with nine runs driven in during the streak. He currently is slugging .667 in the month of July, jumping his season slugging percentage from .409 to .441 in just a handful of games. Gurriel is rising fast in fantasy circles, thanks to a scorching .421 batting average through 76 at-bats with runners in scoring position. Gurriel has plenty of short-term fantasy appeal heading towards the All-Star break.
