Cuban right-hander Yariel Rodriguez is still waiting in the Dominican Republic to receive a visa to enter the United States or Canada and take a physical exam with the Toronto Blue Jays. Rodriguez needs a visa from both countries but is expected to take the physical in the first of the two countries to issue his visa. The 26-year-old's four-year, $32 million deal with the Jays won't become official until he passes a physical. There's a chance he won't report to spring training with the rest of the pitchers and catchers, but eventually, Rodriguez is expected to be used as a starter in Toronto. He was a reliever in Japan in 2022 and didn't play affiliated ball in 2023, so fantasy managers are probably going to need to be patient with Rodriguez.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
