Willy Adames Hits HR Tuesday Versus Boston
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Willy Adames was called up for a few days on Tuesday. He made the most of his first game as he hit a solo home run off Boston ace Chris Sale. Adames is reportedly only going to be up with the team for a few days as infielder Joey Wendle is off on paternity leave. However, this is an exciting sign for owners and Rays fans of what the future might look like. This means that Adames is not worth adding in most redraft leagues unless you have room to stash him. However, if you currently have an empty roster spot and need shortstop help for the next couple of days, he could fit that need. It does, however, seem that Adames is now the next man up for the Rays if another infielder heads to the disabled list, making him a player to stash in deeper leagues.
