Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly is expected to be the main option at his position in Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Dissly is entering his eighth season and will be part of a group that includes Tyler Conklin, Tucker Fisk, and rookie Oronde Gadsden. In 2024, the Chiefs' defense ranked among the worst in the NFL at defending the tight end, allowing an average of 7.0 receptions and 80.9 receiving yards per game to the position. While this is favorable for a tight end, Dissly's stats from last season (50 catches, 481 yards, and two touchdowns) indicate he's not a high-volume target.
