The Minnesota Vikings released veteran starting left tackle Riley Reiff on Wednesday. The nine-year professional played the last four seasons with the Vikings, starting all 15 games he played for the team in 2020. His release will save the team $11.75 million on the salary cap. The 32-year-old has played in 58 regular season games for Minnesota in the last four years, starting all of them at left tackle. The first-rounder in 2012 spent the first five seasons of his career with the Lions. Reiff has provided stability, toughness and leadership at left tackle for Minnesota's offensive line. He was a team captain with the Vikings in all four of his seasons. Ezra Cleveland could be a possibility to take over for Reiff, or the team could address the position in free agency or the draft.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
