Tyus Jones 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies point guard Tyus Jones will be dawning a Grizzlies uniform this upcoming season and looks to be the primary backup for rookie JA Morant. Jones has been a must-grab streamer for most of his career once the starting point guard ahead of him in the rotation gets injured as he does produce when given the minutes. In nearly 23 minutes a night last season, Jones managed to provide 4.8 assists with 1.2 steals and we can easily see him maintain these numbers this season with the youthful Grizzlies looking for some veteran leadership. To add, we can see the Grizzlies rolling out lineups that include both Morant and Jones. He is worth an add in deeper leagues in the later rounds and if Morant is ever expected to miss some time, pick him up as a more than solid streamer.
