Tyrell Williams Hauls In Two TDs
6 years agoLos Angeles Chargers wide receiver Tyrell Williams has been one of the victims of circumstance in a Chargers offense that is overflowing with weapons, but he was one of the main attractions on Sunday against Cleveland. Williams made a huge 45-yard grab in the second quarter to get the team out of the shadow of their own end zone, and the play worked so well that the Chargers decided to run it again. This time, Cleveland seemed more prepared and had Williams triple-covered in the end zone, but that didn't stop Philip Rivers from throwing it or Williams from somehow snatching it out of the arms of the secondary for his first TD. He followed that up with a second TD in the quarter and finished with four catches for 118 yards on the day. Williams is still unpredictable due to the bevy of offensive options on the roster, but this was a reminder of the kind of huge day he can have at any time.
