9 months agoDallas Stars defenseman Tyler Pitlick (upper body) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Buffalo Sabres due to an upper-body injury. Pitlick won't be missed by fantasy owners, but he is a valuable player for his stay-at-home defensive skills. He has registered four goals and 10 points through 43 games this season, and he showed a sweet scoring touch to close out 2018 with goals in three consecutive contests, including the game-winner on Dec. 27 in Nashville. Consider him day to day, and reserve him in deeper fantasy pools. Connor Carrick, who was on a conditioning stint in the minors for four games, will presumably take his place in the lineup on Wednesday.--Daniel E. Dobish - RotoBaller
