Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyler Guyton (knee) expects to play in Thursday's season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, he told Clarence Hill Jr. of ALLDLLS.com. The 24-year-old was diagnosed with a bone fracture and sprain in his right knee near the end of July, and the expectation was that he would miss four to six weeks. That timeline puts him in line to return right around Week 1, and it sounds like Guyton feels confident he'll be able to suit up. The former first-round pick struggled as a rookie last year, but Dallas remains confident in him, and he's expected to have a large role along the offensive line once again this season. He appeared in 15 games (11 starts) last season, playing 64 percent of Dallas' offensive snaps.--Andersen PickardRead More News
