According to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times, Mariners right-handed pitcher Troy Taylor (lat) has been cleared to resume throwing. The 23-year-old sustained this injury during the offseason. Given that Troy has already been cleared to throw, this injury does not seem overly serious. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status during spring training, as he may be cleared to pitch in Cactus League games. Last summer, Troy made his MLB debut and held a 3.72 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP across 19 1/3 innings. He tallied an impressive 25 punchouts. He also generated a strong 3.19 xERA and a .205 xBA, which suggests he should see some positive regression when he returns to the bump. When Troy is cleared for action, fantasy managers should expect him to compete for a role in the Seattle bullpen.--Andy Smith
