The schedule for each Triple-A team will be expanded from 144 games to 150 games in the first full season the minor leagues are being run by Major League Baseball. Because the season didn't start until May due to the coronavirus pandemic last year, the Triple-A schedules were cut to 120 games in 2021. The Triple-A regular season is scheduled to start on April 5 and end on Sept. 28 this year. It's the longest schedule for a minor league team since 1964, when the International League had 154 games and the Pacific Coast League had 156. Major League Baseball cut minor league affiliations from 160 to 120 teams last season. It's good news for young players, as they'll have extra games to develop as they work their way towards the major league.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
