Trey Burton's Fantasy Value Continues To Decline
6 years agoChicago Bears tight end Trey Burton caught only two passes for 22 yards in the Bears 15-6 win over the Rams in Week 14. Burton came down with a huge 17-yard catch in the first half but the entire offense struggled because of quarterback Mitch Trubisky's inaccuracy. Burton got off to a promising start this season but now has only 11 receptions for 99 yards and zero touchdowns over his last five games. The Bears offense continues to add new wrinkles to its play-calling each week and, at this point, anyone on the roster is a candidate to score a touchdown. The red zone plays that went Burton's direction in the first half of the season have dissipated and his fantasy value continues to decline. Burton will be tough to trust in Week 15 against the Packers.
