5/28:Oakland Athletics starting pitcher Trevor Cahill put forth another outstanding effort on Monday but came away with a no-decision in an extra-inning 1-0 loss to the Rays. The righty tossed eight innings, giving up no runs on four hits and no walks with six strikeouts. Unfortunately, the A's offense could not get it going to support Cahill. He is now 1-2 with a 2.25 ERA, 41 strikeouts, and only nine walks in 44 innings pitched this season. Cahill has proven himself to be a reliable fantasy option thus far and should be started this upcoming Saturday at the Royals.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
