Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) said his goal is to return for Week 1 of the 2025 regular season this fall, according to The Dallas Morning News' Calvin Watkins. Diggs had surgery to fix a cartilage issue in his knee in January and is expected to start training camp this summer on the Physically Unable to Perform list. The 26-year-old tore his ACL in Week 3 of 2023 but made it back last year, only to deal with ankle, calf, groin and foot injuries, in addition to his knee ailment, while being limited to 11 starts. It seems like ages ago that he recorded a league-high 11 interceptions (two returned for touchdowns) in 2021. Dallas figures to be cautious with the two-time Pro Bowler in his recovery, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he's not ready for the season opener in September. When healthy, Diggs has already proved he can be a ball-hawking defensive back for the Cowboys defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
