Boston Bruins center Trent Frederic (undisclosed) exited Tuesday's contest against the Toronto Maple Leafs early. He logged just over five minutes of ice time. Following the contest, interim head coach Joe Sacco did not provide an update on the 27-year-old's status. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his availability leading up to their next contest on Thursday evening against the New York Islanders. If Frederic were to miss time, Justin Brazeau or Riley Tufte could rejoin the starting lineup. After scoring at least 17 goals in each of his previous two seasons, Frederic has taken a step back this season, as he has only tallied eight goals with seven helpers through 57 games. He has also held a poor -14 rating but has tallied an impressive 155 hits.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
