Trae Young Continues Productive Spell Friday
2 years agoAtlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young led all scorers with 34 points and had nine assists as interim head coach Joe Prunty made a winning debut with a 136-119 victory over Cleveland Friday. Young shot 8-for-18 from the field, including 4-for-7 from deep, and had a 14-for-5 record at the charity stripe. In only 32 minutes of action, he was also able to post three rebounds and one steal with two turnovers. Young has been on a tear for over a month now, producing 11 double-doubles across his last 14 appearances and averaging 25.1 points for February. A meeting with the new-look Nets awaits him next and it's a good spot for Young to keep up his great form.
