Tommy Milone To Throw Simulated Game Thursday
5 years agoBaltimore Orioles pitcher Tommy Milone (neck) is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Thursday, and the Orioles will then slot him back into the starting rotation in the Grapefruit League. Milone is trying to win a spot in the team's Opening Day rotation. The 33-year-old left-hander has made just 10 starts in the last two seasons for the Mariners and Nationals, so it speaks to how poor the O's options are for the rotation. Even if Milone manages to prove his health and enter the year in the rotation, he'll be an extremely risky fantasy streamer, even in AL-only leagues. He has a career 4.47 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 6.7 K/9 in nine seasons.
