The Chicago White Sox are expected to promote first baseman Tim Elko to the MLB roster prior to Saturday's contest against the Miami Marlins. Elko has yet to appear in an MLB contest. Through the early part of the 2025 campaign, the Ole Miss product has been swinging a hot bat at Triple-A Charlotte. Across 31 games, Elko has posted a stellar .348/.431/.670 slash line with six doubles and 10 home runs. During this stint, Elko tallied 23 RBI and scored 20 runs. Last summer, Elko also enjoyed success at Triple-A, holding a strong .289/.361/.472 slash line across his first 48 games at the level. Given his impressive start to the campaign, Elko could carve out a role in the Chicago offense. For now, fantasy managers in 15+ team formats should consider adding Elko, given his early-season success at Triple-A.--Andy Smith
