Tim Anderson Hopeful To Return In Three Weeks
3 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa hopes shortstop Tim Anderson (groin) will return in three weeks. The 28-year-old was placed on the injured list on Tuesday after exiting Sunday's game early with a groin injury. He will miss three weeks and most likely go on a rehab assignment before returning to the team's active roster. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor Anderson's progress as more of the timeline will be known once the shortstop ramps up his activity. Danny Mendick will handle shortstop duties while Anderson is sidelined. Mendick is a speculative add in deep-league formats after slashing .267/.313/.467 across 13 games in 2022.
