It's been just about a month since Thomas Detry last played on the PGA Tour in New Orleans, and he will make his second career PGA Championship start this week. Even with very little major championship experience, Detry has the game to fit Oak Hill perfectly. Detry has been one of the best players on the PGA Tour this year on par 4s. Detry sits fifth on tour in par 4 scoring average, and 10th in par 4 birdie or better percentage, making a birdie or better 21.31% of the time. With that, Detry is 36th on tour in par 3 scoring average, well under the tour average.
