Texans Restructure Zach Fulton's Contract
4 years agoThe Houston Texans and right guard Zach Fulton agreed to a reworked contract on Friday, according to a source. Fulton was due $14 million over the next two years with no guarantees, but now he'll be due $5 million guaranteed in 2020 and $3 million non-guaranteed in 2021. The Texans will also get some salary cap relief with the move. The 28-year-old just finished his second season in Houston and will help bring more continuity to an offensive line that must remain solid in front of quarterback Deshaun Watson and new running back David Johnson. Fulton was a sixth-round draft pick of the Chiefs in 2014 and spent the first four years of his career in Kansas City.
