Tevin Coleman Dealing With Knee Injury
4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan said that the team is concerned about running back Tevin Coleman (knee), who suffered a knee injury in the Week 2 win over the Jets. Coleman is awaiting the results from an MRI exam. Even with Raheem Mostert (knee) missing the entire second half, Coleman carried the ball 14 times for just 12 yards while also catching two passes for 28 yards against New York. Mostert and Coleman could both be forced to miss time going forward, making Jerick McKinnon -- who outperformed Coleman on Sunday -- a must-add off the waiver wire heading into Week 3. Check back for updates on Coleman's status.
