Taysom Hill Progressing Well From Concussion
3 years agoNew Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said that quarterback Taysom Hill (concussion) is "progressing well" and is "on schedule" to be available for a Week 9 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Hill suffered a concussion in Week 5 and has missed the team's last two games. It's good timing after starter Jameis Winston (knee) suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the Week 8 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hill will need to officially clear the league's concussion protocol this week to have a chance at playing this Sunday, but as long as he's cleared, he's likely to start over Trevor Siemian against Atlanta. The 31-year-old is mostly a rushing threat, but he would be in play as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues if he's named the starter in Week 9.
