Taylor Ward Remains Out Tuesday
Taylor Ward (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays. However, according to The Athletic's Sam Blum, Ward said he's feeling much better and will be available off the bench. Ward also sat out on Monday with hamstring tightness and will take another day off. The 28-year-old thinks his injury is minor, though, and that he'll avoid the injured list. His fantasy managers hope he's right, as Ward currently leads the league in batting average (.364), on-base percentage (.490), slugging percentage (.675), OPS (1.165), OPS+ (245) and walks (19). There's a good chance he'll be back in the lineup on Wednesday. Jack Mayfield is in right field and is hitting sixth on Tuesday against Rays right-hander Corey Kluber.
