T.Y. Hilton Out Wednesday, Darius Leonard To Be Limited
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich said that wide receiver T.Y. Hilton (quadriceps) will not practice on Wednesday. Linebacker Darius Leonard (concussion), who has missed the last two games, will practice on a limited basis. Hilton sat out in Week 4 and with the team's bye coming in Week 6, it's possible the Colts give Hilton three weeks to rest up. That wouldn't be ideal for quarterback Jacoby Brissett against the high-octane offense of the Chiefs this Sunday night, though. Until Hilton returns to practice, you shouldn't put him back in your lineups. If he misses another game, Indy will continue to lean on tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle and a combination of receivers Parris Campbell, Deon Cain and Zach Pascal. Getting Leonard back would be a huge boost for the Colts interior defense, but their overall unit needs to be avoided on the road against the most explosive offense in the league.
