According to Tim Healey of Newsday, right-handed pitcher Stephen Ridings signed a minor-league contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Ridings has seen MLB action since the 2021 season. Since then, he has spent most of his time at the Triple-A level. In 2021, Ridings posted a 1.80 ERA and a 1.20 WHIP across five innings of work in the major leagues. Across 20 innings at the Double-A level, the 29-year-old posted an impressive 0.45 ERA and a 0.55 WHIP. During this stint, he struck out 32 batters and allowed just two free passes. However, at Triple-A, Ridings held a much higher 5.91 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP across 22 innings. Fantasy managers should expect Ridings to open the season in the minor leagues, given his lack of major-league experience.--Andy Smith
