Steelers Defense Gets Devoured By Patriots
5 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers Defense gave up 33 points and 465 yards of offense in their loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday. Tom Brady had his way with the Steelers, averaging almost 10 yards per attempt and constantly picking them apart across the middle of the field. Rookie linebacker Devin Bush had a noticeably rough game, despite leading the team in tackles with 11. Due to Brady's ability to get the ball out so fast, the front seven wasn't able to develop any pressure on him, which led to the big day for the Patriots. Next week, Pittsburgh hosts the Seattle Seahawks, who are one of the leagues most run-heavy teams. That's not a favorable streaming matchup, and this defense can be left on waivers until further notice.
