Sonny Gray Turns In Six Strong Innings
Cincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray turned in six strong innings in a 5-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday. Gray shut out the Brewers over his six innings of work while striking out six and walking two in the win. The veteran right-hander only allowed three hits in the start, two singles and a double. Gray now has a 6-6 record, 3.91 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 124 strikeouts in 103 2/3 innings of work. He has a matchup against the St. Louis Cardinals up next on tap.
